SUNLU ASA 3D Filament: ASA filament is kind of very strong and tough filament, stronger than PLA filament and ABS filament. No clog, no bubble, no tangle, good layer adhesion, easy to use.

  • Super Neat Filament Spool, Spool Diameter: 8.00", Spool Width: 2.50", Spool Hub Hole Diameter: 2.20". The size of the SUNLU filament spool is suitable for hanging on a lot of FDM 3D printers.
  • 1.75mm Filament Diameter, Dimensional Accuracy +/- 0.02mm. SUNLU filament has wide compatibility due to the small diameter error, it's suitable for almost all 1.75mm FDM 3D printers.
  • Recommend Settings:
    Printing temperature 250-260℃ at print speed 50-100mm/s,
    Printing temperature 260-280℃ at print speed 100-200mm/s
    Plate Temperature: 90-110 ℃

Thanks to its outstanding mechanical properties and weather resistance, ASA is widely used in industries such as automotive components, architectural facades, and garden equipment, making it the top choice for projects requiring longevity and reliability.

Achieve flawless ASA prints with SUNLU’s expert-tested guidelines:

  • Temperature Control: Optimize nozzle temps between 250–280°C for smooth flow without oozing.
  • Adhesion Mastery: Use an 90–110°C heated bed with glue stick or PEI sheet to eliminate warping.
  • Speed & Cooling: Recommend printing at a nozzle temperature of 250-260°C, printing speed of 50-100mm/s; emperature of 260-280°C, printing speed of 100-200mm/s, bed temperature of 80-120°C(176-248°F).
  • Enclosed Printing: Minimize drafts and stabilize chamber temps (~50°C) to prevent cracking.
  • Filament Care: Store in sealed bags with desiccant between prints to preserve performance.
